Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Veinz Technologies India Pvt Ltd ("Veinz", "we") handles personal data when you visit veinz.co, contact us, or use a Veinz product through your university, employer, or retail partner.
1. Who we are
Veinz is operated by Veinz Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka. For any question about your data or biometric rights, write to privacy@veinz.co.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email, phone number, organisation and the content of your message, when you fill in a form, write to us or apply for a job.
- Account information. For administrators and users of Veinz products: name, role, organisation and login details.
- Palm vein templates. If you enrol in a Veinz product, an encrypted template of your palm vein pattern. We do not store an image of your hand. See the Biometric Data Notice.
- Usage records. When and where a palm verification took place, such as an attendance mark, a door or a payment.
- Website data. Pages visited, device and browser type, and cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it

4. Consent
We process personal data with your consent or for other purposes the law permits. We create a palm vein template only after you give separate, specific consent. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew.
5. Who we share it with
- Your organisation. The school, employer or merchant that uses Veinz sees records for its own deployment, such as attendance or access. It never receives your palm template.
- Service providers. Companies that host our systems or send our emails, under contract and only for those tasks.
- Payment partners. For VeinzPay, the licensed partner that processes the payment.
- Authorities. Where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Where we store it and how we protect it
Data is stored strictly in India within MeitY-empaneled, Tier-IV data centers. Palm vein templates are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and access is restricted to authenticated enclaves.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: 12 months after our last contact.
- Account information and usage records: for as long as your organisation uses Veinz, and 6 months after.
- Palm vein templates: until you withdraw consent, leave the organisation or the deployment ends. Permanently purged within 30 days after that.
- Job applications: 6 months.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your data, correct or update it, or erase it. You can withdraw consent, and you can nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to privacy@veinz.co. We respond within 7 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children. In campus deployments, students under 18 are enrolled only with the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify organisations that use Veinz.
