Biometric Data Notice

The sensor reads the vascular vein pattern inside your palm and converts it into a non-reversible encrypted template: a numerical mathematical vector. We store the template with your name and institutional ID. We never capture, store, or share raw photographs of your hand.

To verify your identity when you present your palm over a Veinz terminal for attendance, secure access, or counter payments at your institution. We never use it for profiling, advertising, or cross-tenant tracking.

Your host institution (university, employer, or facility) deploys Veinz as a service. Veinz Technologies India Pvt Ltd provides the sovereign hardware and cloud infrastructure, operating as the secure data fiduciary on their behalf.

• No human being can view your biometric template. It is processed exclusively inside hardware-isolated secure enclaves.
• Your organisation sees operational event records (such as timestamp and terminal name), never your raw biometric data.
• We do not sell, license, or share your template with any external parties.

Your template is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256. All data is kept exclusively within sovereign Indian data centers in full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

Until you withdraw consent, leave your organization, or the institutional deployment concludes. Following withdrawal or graduation, templates are permanently erased within 30 days.

• Enrolment is optional. If you prefer not to enrol, your organization will offer an alternative access or check-in method.
• You can withdraw consent at any time through your administrator portal or by emailing privacy@veinz.co.
• You have the legal right to request access, correction, or permanent erasure of your personal records.

A parent or legal guardian must review this notice and provide verifiable electronic consent before enrolment.
